We are off to Cannes
As we walked into the studio of Riot Cinema, Bruno, Carola y Nico surprised us with two good news.
The first one was that the fridge was full of left over pickles from Yuri's Night (yes, we're big pickle fans). The second one, has greater relevance to this post entry:
¡¡¡We are going to Cannes!!!
Yes, yes, Cannes, that promised land for any movie production company who is interested in... well you know, a cinematographic production.
In The Cosmonaut, we think in big terms and believe that it has come time to go to Cannes to promote our project and look for other means of financing.That is the next logical step to take and a strategic flight trip.
With this trip, we put ourselves on the cross hairs of cinema sharpshooters and making way into a ground that it's well know for its high visibility for media as well as for the producers. We head off to Cannes with a mature project, with its alternative and viable business plan.
That is why we are in a chaotic pre-production making this a interesting trip: laying out the design for our financial plan, printing our new flyers, preparing buttons and merchandise... all in all, what seems to be long sessions of intensive networking.
As always, we take this space to informed you about the current undergoing of the project and ask if you now someone who is going to go to the festival and knows about the project because he can be of great assistance.
Besides, it is worth mentioning that this challenge that we assumed economically still is pretty ambitious for us, so we are not ashamed to ask if there are people who could offers us a place to stay for a few days in their home blue coast in exchange for a million thanks. We could even get them a pickle or two and a pair of bottles of good vodka.
